Math Olympiad

Math Problem solving contests for teams of in grades 4 through 8. Current competitions are between classes at Avicenna though we plan to join competitions between schools.

Meets once monthly after-school. Contact school for specifics.

Chess Club

Students learn and improve their chess abilities through instruction, gameplay, and competition for grades 4-8.

Meets every day during recess. Contact school for specifics.

Art Club

Explore your personal interests in art and get some hands on experience with art tools and materials. Available for all grade levels.

Meets every Wednesday after-school.

Coding Club

Students explore programming through a series of interactive puzzles and collaborative activities. Students practice logic, problem solving, and creativity. Available for grades 4-8.

Meets every other Saturday. Contact school for specific dates.

School Yearbook

Students work toward the completion of the School Yearbook. Allows students experience in photography, computer design and writing creatively that captures the memories of our school year. Will be assigned to one grade level.

Drama Club

Students perform original plays based on historical Islamic figures and culture. Available for all grades.
