Every student at Avicenna participates in a service learning project.
This year, we have selected charity: water as our focus organization.

Holy Family Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry
Students in grades 6-8 spent a day packing non-perishables and fresh produce for pick up. They also served hot meals.
Ramadan Food Drive
All grades competed for free homework days by collecting the most non-perishables throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
